Protect your neighbors
Oppose the cruel mass deportation plan.
Donald Trump has vowed to carry out the largest deportation program in US history. He and his allies have said it will be ‘bloody,’ that ‘nobody is off the table’.... American citizens will be ripped from their families, as parents are separated from their children.
Economists and immigrants’ rights groups have warned that Trump’s mass deportation plan would devastate our economy and harm all American families. The deportation of law-abiding residents and essential workers in agriculture, construction, and health care would cripple communities.
Do this: Tell your Congressperson and 2 Senators: America needs a serious immigration reform proposal with pathways to legal status and orderly legal immigration that recognizes immigrants are essential for America's future.
URGENT - there may be a vote this week
Demand removal of anti-trans amendment in Defense Authorization Act
If passed, this provision of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA, Sec. 708/709 ) will prohibit the military’s health program from providing necessary healthcare to the transgender children of US service members. This provision may force service members to make the choice between continuing military service or leaving to ensure their child can get the health care they need.
This bill passed the House with this amendment, but can be stopped in the Senate.
Do this: Tell your Senators not to vote until the Anti-Trans Language is removed.

Save 40 lives
Tell President Biden to commute the sentences of people on Federal death row.
Last week, Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 1500 people and pardoned 39. But there are still 40 people on Death Row, whose lives he could save by commuting their sentence to life.

Put the ERA in the Constitution
Equality is long overdue.
The Equal Rights Amendment is not dead, but it is not in the Constitution yet. In 2020, Virginia became the 38th and final state needed to ratify the ERA.
All that remains is for the White House to have the Archivist of the United States to publish it. (The American Bar Association passed a resolution in August 2024 debunking the 2 major objections to publishing the ERA, so the ERA may become part of the Constitution.) Do this: Tell the President to put ERA in the Constitution.
