Gear Up Training & Action Program w/SURJ

From December 2024 to February 2025, SURJ, the largest organization in the US that explicitly organizes white communities for justice, is launching a 10 week Gear Up Training and Action Program – a powerful opportunity to build our skills, community and power in the lead up to 2025.
Gear Up is a learning, training, and action program. With experts from social justice movements across the country and the world, we'll dig into education on topics like: the rise of the far right in the US, organizing strategies under authoritarianism, and the role of white people in social movements.
There will be training in organizing skills – like how to talk to white people about racism and how to hold meetings to bring more people into this work and how to organize protests in your town to resist the terrifying agenda Trump has in store for us.
Thousands across the country will take collective action. Will you join?
